Circular Trekking in Positano Mountains: A Unique Amalfi Coast Experience

Discover the circular trekking route through the mountains of Positano, a journey through history, nature, and unforgettable panoramas. The trail follows ancient paths once used by farmers and fishermen to trade land products for those of the sea. Begin your ascent along the “Tese” trail (CAI marker 33) from Corvo in Positano to Santa Maria del Castello.

Continue along a charming stretch of the Path of the Gods to the forest ranger station, surrounded by pristine nature.

Resume your hike to Montepertuso, one of the most breathtaking points of the route. From here, you can admire the Gulf of Salerno with Positano and the Li Galli islands on one side, and the Gulf of Naples with Ischia and smaller islands on the other.

The descent to Montepertuso, a picturesque hamlet of Positano, offers a unique experience: its name derives from the mountain with a large natural hole, a feature sculpted by erosion. From here, a network of staircases and narrow streets leads to the beach, where crystal-clear waters and postcard-perfect scenery complete the adventure.
